Let me tell you about my awful experience at the Walgreens on Rt. 30 and Burr St.
I had 2 joy coupons, 2 bounty coupons, and 6 extreme 3 razor coupons. The manager (who was my cashier) would not let me purchase more than one of any item at a time, would not use the Walgreens easy saver coupons plus manufacturer coupons (I could use either/or she said). She also would not use the in store deal (i.e. Joy $0.99) with a manufacturers coupon. I have never been so dissatisfied with service at a Walgreens store. I gave most of the items in my cart to the manager and basically told her where she could put them and proceeded on to the Walgreens on Rt. 30 in Schererville by Tiebels restaurant where they let me buy all of my items at once and gave me service with a smile!
Walgreen's coupon policy states that you are allowed to use both an easy saver and a manufacturer's coupon on the same item.
I wish they would post their coupon policy online so that we could print it out and have it with us.
I would send Walgreens an email describing what happened. I have seen where others have done this and the store manager called to apologize.
We need to have a list of friendly vs unfriendly stores in our area! I think I will work on that!
